Hydrologic Monitoring and Telemetry

EcoKai provides hydrologic monitoring and data collection services, including the design, installation, and operation of fixed and temporary monitoring systems for surface water, groundwater, soil moisture, and stormwater projects across a wide range of hydrologic settings, including remote and difficult-to- access environments. Monitoring systems commonly include pressure transducers, water level loggers, flow meters, soil moisture probes, rain gauges, and multi-parameter sondes, deployed in accordance with project-specific monitoring objectives and regulatory requirements.

Our experience includes monitoring stormwater and urban dry-weather flows within storm drain infrastructure and open channels, flows within natural waterways, and the design and installation of groundwater monitoring networks to evaluate aquifer levels, hydraulic gradients, and seasonal variability. Systems are configured to support both continuous and event-based monitoring, including storm-triggered data collection. Many installations incorporate cloud-based telemetry systems to enable near–real-time data access, remote system diagnostics, and rapid response during storm events. EcoKai provides routine inspection, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of monitoring equipment to ensure data continuity, accuracy, and long-term performance.

Collected data are managed, quality-checked, and formatted for efficient analysis, visualization, and reporting, and are suitable for regulatory compliance, engineering evaluation, and long-term resource management.
